Captain James Morgan Open Handles Crock

A rare early open handled crock with the watch spring decoration attributed to Capt. James Morgan of Cheesequake, NJ. This ovoid crock has a slip-trailed watch spring decorated on the front and back and cobalt brushed around the handle ends.

Condition: Very good with a few small chips on the rim and base, a thin spider line in front and two on the bottom.
