American Steamboat “Robert P. Gilham”

History: The Robert P. Gilham was built at Parkersburg, West Vergina in 1901. She was a sternwheel steamboat, mostly used as a Tugboat, from 1901-1925. Owned by Cambells Creek Coal Co. The Gilham towed barges from the Kanawha River to Louisville.

Notice the red “C” between her smokestacks and the Arrow weathervane on the bow.
