Flying Goose Weathervane

This Canada Goose weathervane is carved from 3 pieces of wood.
It was once mounted on a barn at the Mayo Duck Farm in Orleans, Mass.
This vane retains its’ original paint. There is a 1 inch wear area to the paint on the right wing. It has a metal strip added to the beak, probably for ballast.
