This crock is smothered with a glorious version of the Orchard motif. Noah White established his pottery in Utica New York, in 1838. Succeeding generations ran it until 1909. The maker’s mark on this jug was used from 1882 to 1886. Pieces having this mark are noted for the intensity of their cobalt blue decoration.
