1 Gallon Stoneware Crock stamped UNION POTTERY, NEWARK, N.J., J. ZIPF, PROP’R. This is the mark of J. Zipf who ran the Union Pottery from 1877-1906.  The decoration is a Tulip made with a combination of Slip Trail for the Stem and Brushwork for the Leaves and Blossom
